Semifinals: Northwestern State vs. McNeese
McNeese was matched up against the fourth-seeded Northwestern State Demons in the semifinals. Instead, the Cowboys showed off their offense to the tune of an 83-64 win. Their timely play execution and tempo control showed their readiness for the title game.
Championship Game: McNeese vs. Lamar
In the title game, it was the top-seeded McNeese Cowboys taking on the second-seeded Lamar Cardinals. The Cowgirls held on to secure a 63-54 victory in a defensive struggle for their fourth Southland Conference title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
